The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) has been struck by a heartbreaking tragedy as news of the sudden passing of one of its recent graduates, Christy, surfaced earlier today.
Christy, a native of Japeikrom in the Bono Region, was a dedicated student of the Geography Department. Sadly, she could not attend the university’s graduation ceremony due to ill health. Just a few weeks after the ceremony, her coursemates received the devastating message this morning confirming her untimely demise.
Her passing has left the entire Geography Department and the university community in shock and grief. Christy was known among her peers as a kind and hardworking individual, making her sudden departure an unbearable loss.
