On 19th November 2024, Hon. Alexander Afenyo-Markin, the Majority Leader in Parliament and Member of Parliament for Efutu Municipal, was installed as the Nkosuohene (Development Chief) of Winneba by the Efutu Traditional Council.
He was also given the special title Osahene to honor his hard work and contributions to the growth and development of the Efutu Municipality. This shows how much the people trust and appreciate his efforts to improve the lives of the community.
The ceremony was attended by traditional leaders, government officials, and community members who came together to celebrate this important event.
The title of Nkosuohene highlights Hon. Afenyo-Markin’s dedication to making Winneba a better place in the Efutu Municipal.
